Nunavut Association of Municipalities
Municipal government is the order of government often described as “closest to
the people.” Our members are the mayors, the councillors and the senior
administrators representing the community members of Nunavut’s 25 incorporated
municipalities. The Nunavut Association of Municipalities (NAM) is the
collective voice of Nunavut’s municipal governments. Our role is to support
strong leaders and strong administrators so that leaders can continue to build
better lives for their community members and then collectively, we all build a
more prosperous, livable, and sustainable future for Nunavut.
